The Bible is the self revelation of God. As the holy men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit so did they write. Thus, the writers of the Bible were inspired to write the words of God and not of men . Note that the Bible was not arranged topically so that it can be studied in themes or topics individually but arranged as it is now in order to be read in a book form at a time. Academic books for instance are written in topics and these topics are interconnected. Hence the failure to understand the first topic, makes it difficult to understand the further topics but each chapter of the Bible is a book on its own that can be read and understood.
*Key factors about the Bible * The Bible is a revelation, thus God’s self disclosure. It reveals the image of God. The Bible records what God did and the history of people in general, a particular country or something else. • It is a Scripture (written message ). The Bible is regarded as a message of God written down for men. • The Bible is an inspiration. It tells us how the word or message came to being. The Bible is considered as God’s breath since the writers were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write (2Timothy 3:16). This implies that God communicated directly with men by the use of their language, wisdom … but the end product is God and not man made. Therefore, the Bible is and contains Gods own words (Hebrews 1:1-2) • It is an authority. This factor deals with the relevance of the Bible today. The Bible seems to demand obedience from all human race no matter of the age, complexion and others(Acts 2:37).
In all, the Bible is the word of God (Revelation) written down (Scripture) in God’s own words (Inspiration) for our obedience (Authority). So mathematically, revelation + scripture +inspiration +authority = BIBLE

THE WORDS FROM THE LORD: As our team of the year, ALL YEAR GROWTH For the congregation of the church, in relation to the past week’s session, we continue to dive in the depths of GROWTH; Which in the lame man’s understanding, to increase in… Whether size or weight to promote to a level. There are different forms of growth among which one we study today SPIRITUAL GROWTH SPIRITUAL GROWTH However, is the increase or expansion of relationship between an individual and GOD. Thus; knowing their responsibilities to God. For growth to be, an individual has to be born again just like a baby, to pickup from the basics, fundamental of man to God relationship to grow more firmly…. Growth in Christ is a process to become like Christ Jesus Himself as christians are commanded to grow in faith.*WAYS TO PERSONAL CHRISTIAN GROWTH* ( *spiritual growth*
) 2nd Peter 3:18 speaks about growing in Grace and Knowledge of our Lord. 1.TO SEEK SPIRITUAL FOOD As of the physical growth, the body needs food to survive and nourish, so does the soul need the word of God to nourish and flourish. A believer often needs the gospel of truth and life to reignite his soul continuously, as John 6:63 says the word is of life and spirit. 2nd Timothy 2:15. The word it’s self serves as an inspiration, prompting believers not to divert but rather be cautious and alert.
2.SPENDING TIME IN PRAYER Since prayer is a medium for interaction between us and God, it connects our hearts to Him (GOD), arrowing us to pour our desires before Him. As 1st Thessalonians even requires of us to pray without ceasing at the chap 5 verses 17, on the other hand, communicate with God without a break; just as in the situation of a father and son who always communicate, this enables the father to guide his son, and the son to also talk about his needs with the father. …. EPHESIANS 6:18.
3.TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EVERY PUBLIC ASSEMBLY THE CHURCH OFFERS examples: Devotions, Revivals, Crusades, Conferences and many more. Basing on the verse 23 to 25 of Hebrews 10, one gets to see the togetherness and unity the Lord wants us to have in His house to build His work, holding fast onto the profession of our faith without wavering and considering one another to provoke unto love and good works. ACTS 2:46 however; depicts how joyous and glad all heads present then were, as they continued daily to break bread from house to house. Thus a true example of how working in a public assembly by the church is
4.GROW THROUGH SELF DISCIPLINE AND SACRIFICE Romans 12:1. To achieve a goal is to be DISCIPLINE, thus, for an individual to firmly hold and grow, there must be a line of Disciplinary act and sacrifice to attain such a goal, as the Bible says in Romans 12:1 that our bodies must be a living sacrifice and Holy unto God. Growth it’s self is a stage of maturity and maturity dwells also in self discipline.
5.EXERCISING SPIRITUAL MUSCLE ( by teaching the gospel and sharing faith ) Through the teachings and sharing of our faith with others, we grow in our personal Christian Life. As the saying; to be the best student, one must be a good teacher. One has to go through the process of impacting on others his knowledge, same as to grow. One has to make teaching of the gospel and sharing of their faith a major deal. This however; strengthens your sense and efforts as a believer. As in Acts 3:5-9 when Peter healed the lame man through his faith and believe, not by his might but by the spirit as pointed out in the chap 4:8 of Acts. Though Peter already believed and Knew Christ Jesus, the results of his faith on the lame man increased him to do more work of God and to grow in Christ.
