Quotes: 2Peter 1:21, 2Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1:1-2, Exodus 34:1&28 1Corinthians 2:13
The Bible is the self revelation of God. As the holy men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit so did they write. Thus, the writers of the Bible were inspired to write the words of God and not of men . Note that the Bible was not arranged topically so that it can be studied in themes or topics individually but arranged as it is now in order to be read in a book form at a time. Academic books for instance are written in topics and these topics are interconnected. Hence the failure to understand the first topic, makes it difficult to understand the further topics but each chapter of the Bible is a book on its own that can be read and understood.

Therefore, the Bible is and contains Gods own words (Hebrews 1:1-2)
• It is an authority. This factor deals with the relevance of the Bible today. The Bible seems to demand obedience from all human race no matter of the age, complexion and others(Acts 2:37).
In all, the Bible is the word of God (Revelation) written down (Scripture) in God’s own words (Inspiration) for our obedience (Authority). So mathematically, revelation + scripture +inspiration +authority = BIBLE
